Whiting Davis .. A tribute to beautiful jewelry and accessories

Egyptian revival jewelry at its best
Exotic Whiting and Davis Snake bracelet. VERY Egyptian revival
The brand's iconic snake is estimated to have made its first appearance in the late 1890s - a delicate bracelet crafted in sterling silver. Throughout the years, Whiting & Davis continued to design the snake motif into their fine and fashion jewelry with earrings, bracelets and necklaces. One of Whiting & Davis' most rare designs is a circa 1910, double-headed snake bracelet that had been hand enameled by the skilled craftsmen at the company.
Whiting  and Davis LARGE Baroque CUFF Bracelet
In 1903 when Edward Davis patented new technology to improve the hinged bracelet, using two hinges on each side so a woman could open and close with ease. The bracelet featured seamless hinges and a spring, rather than a clasp which was popular at the time.
Whiting DAVIS Silver mesh Purse
By 1896, Charles Whiting partnered with Edward Davis and the name Whiting & Davis was born. With the same drive that transformed metal mesh into fashion, Charles Whiting led the brand into the Twentieth Century - handbags introduced anywhere from 1896 to 1935 continue to be highly sought after styles today by collectors .

Snake Jewelry.... Not as scary as you think

CHeck out this Vintage Snake Parure Bracelet necklace belt rhinestone eyes Egyptian goddess

What a fabulous set that is all original to each other! The bracelet belt and necklace all have red rhinestone eyes in these fabulous creatures!  Rich patina gives this set a russian gold plate feel to it. The nice thing about the set is that you can wear some pieces in more than one way as seen on the arm in the photo. The belt measures up to 40" when closed, the necklace measures 20" when closed and the bracelet will fit most any wrist. It has a very good tight coil to it. You are getting all three.

Vintage Charm Bracelet padlock and pocketwatch charms raised relief bangle

BLack diamond Vampire cross necklace dripping in rhinestones

This is a huge cross ready to protect you against the powers of evil and or a trivial vampire at least. The cross is HUGE ( 5 1/2" long ( including the bail) . It hangs from a black enamel chain that has large rhinestone fringe that hangs behind and beside this neat gothic cross. Inside the cross are diamond like crystals that sparkles against this deep shiny black like the real things. The necklace measures 17" long around the neck with an additional 6 1/2" for the brilliant sparking fringe and black cross pendant. A fabulous combination of silver colored metal and gold colored metal that really catches your eye!

Bohemian Filigree....With a dash of Turquoise

This beautiful filigree pendant holds a carved turquoise cross that is has a wired cross center. The filigree top holds turquoise rhinestones that go well with the center turquoise faceted center stone. The whole pendant measures 5" long. The bale that holds this is very deco in style and really sets off the pendant. The double link chain is old and pulls this all together really well. It measures 22" long with the additional 5" for the pendant. One of a kind and truly fabulous!

In Remembrance of  Queen Marie Antoinette
Green is for envy and they will do that when they see the rich emerald green of these jewels on this vintage locket. Open it and see the French Queen herself, Marie Antoinette.Dark patina on the locket give it a gunmetal cast to match the woven metal chain that measures 29" long. It has an extra jewel at the back which shows off if you have your hair up or it is short. The locket measures 2 1/2" long ( with the bale) and an additional 3/4" for the rich purple aurora borealis glass beads above it. One of a kind this locket can hold two photos ( just put yours above hers if you dare).
