Snuffy Charlotte

SNuff trivia for the day:Queen Charlotte, the wife of King George III, had such a passion for snuff that she soon earned the nickname "Snuffy Charlotte."

Snuff became firmly enrooted as the tobacco product of choice among the aristocracy and followers of fashion.

It was seen as a far more refined habit than smoking, and was especially favoured in court. Royalty, both Kings and Queens, attended to their snuff habits with a passion, and carried specialised snuff accoutrements and even built dedicated rooms for storing their snuff.

Finding these little boxes sometimes becomes quite the treasure hunt!
I have many on my sites if you want to take a peek,

Put a little vintage sparkle back in your life
